She and another server waited in the front area until they saw us walking up to leave and obviously planned having a tipping conversation for us to hear about her displeasure. We were there less than an hour and our bill was $168 I feel like that was plenty for crappy food no one ate and she didn’t even ask us why or if everything was ok. $17 for 4 visits to our table was sufficient for unamazing service. Normally would be tipping more if it were decent. I left a standard obligatory 10% tip for our mediocre service. I was surprised at how expensive the bill was considerIng the atmosphere and quality of food. We didn’t bother ordering dessert that we were planning on ordering. Although she wasn’t very attentive either. Our server didn’t notice that clearly we didn’t love our food. No one really liked their dinner and we ended up taking home 4 of our 5 meals. The butter was too hard to spread onto puppies. The rest of the food arrived and I would say it was mediocre. That is the only good thing I have to say about dinner. It was a very small amount and had the tiniest rings we’ve ever seen. able to afford to tasteful decor or an update at least. Well, when I first walked up I noticed the building and grounds didn’t have any ambiance at all. We went to the Shrimp Shack because we saw it on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.
